Back Bay Hockey Association

The Back Bay Youth Hockey Association (BBYHA) has been a part of the community for over 40 years. The organization was built on a foundation of women and men who dedicated themselves to the young individuals of the community. The result of their labor is the production of outstanding young athletes who have gone on to be or will be successful contributors to society.

The BBYHA staff and volunteers is led by  Director of Youth Hockey and governed by the BBYHA Board of Directors headed by President Victor Drouin.

Back Bay Hockey field a small number of teams each year which currently participate in the Tier II, Tier III and Tier IV levels of play. Teams compete under the administration of USA Hockey, which in New Hampshire is represented locally as the New Hampshire Amateur Hockey Association (NHAHA).

The objective of the BBYHA is to produce players who have developed the skills necessary to advance to the next higher level of competition without compromising the emphasis on long term development.

In addition to team and league play, BBYHA hosts several tournaments throughout the year; each BBYHA team may participate in these or any other tournament at the coaches discretion.
