The Back Bay Indians hockey program kicked off their 2020 – 2021 season Saturday afternoon with its U18 Split Season Midget team. The U18’s hosted the New England Edge Midget 1’s in a home opener at the Merrill Fay Arena in Laconia. An outstanding show by both Back Bay Indian goaltenders (Oleg Sheahan and Bryson Wrobleski) resulted in the U18’s first shutout of the season. Goals by three Indian forwards (Captain, Cody Emerson (4), TJ O’Keefe (1) and Colby Hall (1)) with assists by Cody Emerson, Ethan Mosher, Braden Cash, Nate Holiday and Dylan Mathieu. The 6 – 0 Win was a result of the teams efforts. Head Coach Sikich said, “The kids looked rusty and in need of some conditioning but we definitely have the skill and ability to compete, I am looking forward to the season and see how we can grow as a team.” The Back Bay Indian’s U18 team will be playing their second game of the season on Saturday 10/3/20 @ 12:00 PM at Merrill Fay Arena against Concord 2.

Registration Deposit Reduction

By Board of Directors 03/18/2020, 9:00am EDT

Good Afternoon Back Bay Indian families,

The Back Bay Hockey is tracking the COVID - 19 pandemic and its effect globally on everyone personally and professionally. If an effort to ease the financial burden for families, The Board of Directors has unanimously voted to reduce the deposit from the current listed amount to $20. We request that you go online and register so we have an accurate player count and can declare our teams at the appropriate skill levels. We do want everyone to know that while the hockey season is currently over we do want to make the parent / player experience a good one.  We extend our best wishes to your families during this time.

Thank you for your continued support of our Organization and we are looking forward to continued success at Back Bay.

Respectfully,

Back Bay Hockey Board of Directors
