Learn to Play is the introduction of basic ice hockey skills to players moving up from Learn to Skate or players who have some skating ability. The Learn to Play program was developed by USA Hockey with the intent of using age-appropriate skill progression by certified coaches. This will be a fun and safe atmosphere for our next generation to start enjoying the game. We look forward to seeing you there. This program will focus on ages 4 - 12, however all are welcome.
Sessions will run from 8:00-8:50am on Saturday mornings during the month of February 2023 and will take place at the newly renovated Pop Whalen Arena in Wolfeboro, NH. The cost of the program is $75.
Note that a current USA Hockey membership is required to register for this program.
Required equipment for Learn to Play:
Beginner equipment packages can be purchased hockey stores in the area such as Capital Sporting Goods in Concord. Capital Sporting Goods also sells used equipment in various sizes.
