Back Bay Girls - First Game of Their Inaugural Season

By John Sikich 11/13/2019, 9:00pm EST

The Back Bay Indians have expanded their program to include an all Girls team. The Indians 12U Girls Team will be playing in the Seacoast Hockey League for their first season and are looking to expand to the GSL next year. Their first game of the season is on Sunday 11/17/19 at 9:10 AM Vs. The Laconia Lakers. We wish the girls the best of luck in their game and encourage everyone to come out and support their efforts.

The final game of the season for the Back Bay Indians resulted in a 10 - 0 victory over the Northern Cyclones. The Back Bay Indians controlled the game from the start and did not let up. Unfortunately the team will not advance due to a lack of games played during the season.

After a long hiatus the Back Bay Indians 18U Midget Team showed the Granite State League they are back and full of speed and skill. With a final record of 10 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie in 13 games the Back Bay Indians 18U Midget team finished 2nd in the GSL, 1st in the State (My National Rankings) and 84th in the Nation out of 410 Tier II 18U Teams (My National Rankings).

The final team total was 73 Goals For, 25 Goals Against which equates to a 5.23% Goals For and a 1.08% Goals Against Per Game average. This achievement is even more impressive when you take into account that the Team played with an average of 8 skaters and 1 goalie for most of the season.

Great job Boys we can't wait to see what next year brings.

Exciting first round of the 18 U Midget GSL Playoffs

By John Sikich 11/09/2019, 8:15am EST

The Back Bay Indians first game resulted in a 2 - 1 win for Back Bay against a tough opponent. The NH Avalanche 2 team fought hard and adjusted well to the speed; however could not get through the tough defense put up by goaltender Charlie Rubin and the rest of the Indians team.

Congratulations on the win and good luck with the Northern Cyclones at 12:45 PM on 11/09/19 at the HAM Arena. Lets bring home another win.

Unfortunately due to a game deficiency the Back Bay Indians were informed the day of the GSL Tournament that they would not be allowed to win any of their games played. Regardless of outcome the Indians would take a 1-0 loss. I am proud of our Boys and the way they represented the organization.  Good Luck today!
